What is the best time for a maternity session?

The best time for a maternity photoshoot often depends on how you feel and how you want your pregnancy journey to be captured. However, as a general guideline, I typically recommended to schedule your maternity photoshoot when you are around 30 to 36 weeks pregnant.

During this time, your baby bump is usually quite pronounced and round, which is beautiful for photos, but you are still likely to be comfortable enough to enjoy the photoshoot without much discomfort or fatigue. This can vary based on each pregnancy, as every woman and every pregnancy is unique.

It's important to remember that these photos are about you, your journey, and your comfort. Therefore, the timing should ultimately be decided based on what feels right for you. Please feel free to consult with us so that we can find the perfect timing for your special photoshoot.

How does a maternity session look like?

The maternity photoshoot begins with a personal consultation where I listen to your desires and needs, understand your unique story, and design a photo session that will highlight your journey into motherhood in the most authentic and beautiful way possible.

There will be a variety of props and outfits to choose from, all designed to emphasize the beauty of your changing form. You are free to choose what you feel most comfortable and beautiful in - whether it's a soft flowing gown, a simple draped fabric, or perhaps your favorite comfy outfit.

Throughout the 1 hour photoshoot, I ensure you are comfortable and relaxed, capturing candid moments as well as gently guided poses. My focus is on creating a serene, intimate atmosphere that allows for genuine emotion and connection to shine through.
